POCOCK, Kathleen (nee Boughen)

Late of Rosewood QLD and formerly of Cabarita Beach, Bogangar NSW. Passed away peacefully 17th January 2021, aged 91 years. 

Beloved Wife of Glyn (deceased), loving Mother and Mother-in-Law to; Bernadette and Hugh, Geoff and Di, Gay and Steve, Brian and Vicki, Marg and Paul. Grandma and Great-Grandma to their children whom she cherished so deeply. 

Kath’s life will be celebrated in a Requiem Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Cnr Elizabeth Street and Roseberry Parade, Ipswich commencing at 10am on Friday, 22nd January 2021. 

After Mass a funeral cortege will proceed to Tallegalla Cemetery (Rosewood-Marburg Road, Tallegalla) via St Brigid’s Catholic Church Rosewood where the cortege will briefly pause to acknowledge Kathleen’s long association with the Church (now temporarily closed). 

COVID19 restrictions as per QLD Health Department directions will apply and a short informal gathering for family and friends is planned after the funeral with details to be provided on the day.
