"NO LONGER A LIVING LEGEND OF LEAGUE" LAIRD, RAY (Turtle) of Good Shepherd Lodge, formerly of Paul Street Marian. Ray passed away peacefully with his wife Betty by his side on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at 6.15am. Ray was a son of Amy and Donald Laird (Dec), and has survived by his brother Neville and Sisters Thelma, Margaret (Maggie), Susan and Gail. He was a proud Father to Donald, Wendy, Raymond, Karen, Sally and to all their respective families and friends. All those who knew Ray well, are invited to share in his farewell at Whitsunday Funerals Chapel, 209 Shakespeare Street, Mackay commencing at 11.00am this Friday 8th February 2019. Ray will then be laid to rest at Mt Bassett Cemetery for those who wish to follow, Flowers optional or donations to www.dementia.org.au (Dementia Australia) envelopes also available at the Chapel entrance.
