Brian passed away after a short illness and after spending his final weeks with his beloved wife Elizabeth and daughters Davina, Adele and Celia at his side.
His treasured seven grandchildren all had the chance for a hug goodbye.
Brian's service will be held within St Patrick's Church, 38 Chapel street, Kogarah on Friday Oct 27th at 11 am.
Parking is available at a number of nearby St George Hospital Carparks.
A wake will follow at St George Sailing Club, 2 Riverside Drive, Sans Souci, in the area he loved and to which he dedicated his life, through local and state government and community activities.
In lieu of flowers please make any contributions to the Wayside Chapel, where Brian volunteered up until his illness.
