It is with deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Daphne Laws, who died surrounded by loved ones on the evening of Wednesday, 2nd of October at the age of 94 years. Matriarch of her clan of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and survived by 4 siblings, her absence will be painfully felt. A constant and patient listener, she was always armed with a pot of tea, understanding, and frill-free advice. The memory of her ready-wittedness, plain honesty and love will be cherished.
