Bernie had a life well spent serving his community, touching the lives of many through his kindness and unwavering spirit. His devotion extended to his beloved wife, Helen, their children: Donna, Tammie, and Mark, and their spouses: Andrew, Clayton and Lauren. His grandchildren—Tara (deceased), William, Lachlan, James, Ellie, Archer, and Samantha—were a constant source of pride and joy. Bernie's legacy will live on in their hearts.
A celebration of life for Bernie’s family and friends will be held at George Brown Darwin Botanical Gardens, in front of Visitor & Event Centre on Friday the 19th of May at 11am.
The family welcomes donations to heartkids.org.au as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
