Lived on his beloved farm on Wolfram Road in Dimbulah. Died Cairns Base Hospital, Queensland.Our beloved Dad passed away peacefully as the sun was rising on Tuesday 8 October 2013. Dusan was a loving husband to Ruza, father to Linda (Medic), George and Damir, father-in-law to Vinko and Fiona and beloved Dida to Antonia, Katarina, Daniel, Evan and Ana.Dusan was also a beloved brother-in- law to Gojko & Ivanka Zelenika and to Dane & Rosa Zelenika and beloved Tetak to Zdenka, Jelena and Suzi; and to Steven, Marijana, Sandra and Dijana. Also loved by Paul, Glen, Jamie, Neil, Matt and all his great nieces and nephews.There will be a Requiem Mass held for Dusan at St Anthony's Church in Dimbulah at 1pm on Tuesday 15th October 2013 followed by a burial at the Dimbulah cemetery. A wake for Dusan will then be held at the Croatian Club.This is a time to reflect on what a wonderful human being Dusan was right to the end. He had so many beautiful virtues. He was kind, caring, loving and dedicated to his family in Australia and Croatia. He was admired, trusted and respected by many.Dad, you came to the world into a loving family and you left with a loving family who will keep your memory alive each day for the rest of our lives. You were the most wonderful father any child could wish for.Thank you to the Coronary Care Unit at the Cairns Base Hospital, especially Dr Marshall and Nurse Eileen. A big thank you also from the bottom of our hearts to Dr Mantha and staff at the Renal Unit for the exceptional care our Dad has received over the last 13 years.
