MILKINS, Ronald George Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 24th June 2014, late of Mudgeeraba, aged 82 years. Dearly loved Husband of Val, loving Father and Best Friend of Kerryn (and Ewan), Wendy (and Bill), Graham (and Kym). Loving Poppy to Jessie (and David), Mac, Sarah, Aaron (and Nicole), Emily (and Seb), and May, and Great-grandfather to Kaleb (and Blake). Ron was an early pioneer in Gold Coast tourism, being motel proprietor of Las Palmas Holiday Lodge and Stable Restaurant, Surfers Paradise, and later Darcy Arms, Broadbeach. Ron's Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service to be held in the Somerville Chapel, 129 Nerang-Broadbeach Rd, Nerang on Tuesday 1st July 2014 at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stroke Association of QLD (PO Box 279, Acacia Ridge 4110) would be appreciated.
