Esteemed and valued member of the Augustinian Order. Beloved son of the late Tom and Monica Mooney, Brisbane. Greatly loved brother of Joan, John (d), Paul (d), Martin (d), Rose and Kate (d). Deeply missed by his family and many friends. Respected former teacher and Principal at Villanova College, Coorparoo, Brisbane.

A concelebrated Funeral Mass for Father Laurence Mooney OSA, will be held in St James' Catholic Church, 165 Old Cleveland Rd, Coorparoo, at 10.30am on Friday April 21st. Burial to follow at Nudgee Cemetery at 1.30pm.
