A State Memorial for Mr Michael Gudinski AM, will be held at Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 24 March.

Mr Gudinski is widely recognised as the most powerful and infl uential fi gure in the Australian music industry.

He was the Founder and Chairman of the Mushroom Group – the largest independent music and entertainment company in Australia and New Zealand – covering touring, record labels, publishing, merchandising, booking agencies, fi lm and television production, talent management, venues and creative services.

Mr Gudinski’s passion for music was legendary and his advocacy for artists established him as a much loved, respected and admired leader in the industry in Australia and overseas.

This unique State Memorial will celebrate that lifelong passion and honour his signifi cant contribution to the Australian music industry and the state of Victoria.

The State Memorial will be held at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Park. Doors will open at 5.30pm with the Memorial commencing at 7.07pm.

Family, friends and colleagues are invited to attend, and members of the public are able to register their interest.

In lieu of fl oral tributes and in keeping with Mr Gudinski’s lifelong contribution to the entertainment industry, his

The State Memorial will be held in line with COVIDSafe requirements and will be live streamed.
