MUIR, Donal (Don)

aged 92 years

Husband of Shirley (dec'd). Father of David and Ian, father-in-law to Veronica and Jenny, grandfather to Brigid, Andrew, Allister and Tim, grandfather-in-law to Linda and Brittany, great grandfather to Chloe.

Don lived an active life as a grazier on his property known as Glenferrie near Ilfracombe located between Barcaldine and Longreach, contributing to the local community in many ways and particularly cherished his association with the Barcaldine Club and Barcaldine Show Society.

He achieved his wish to live out his final years independently in his apartment in the Brisbane suburb of Bardon and regularly walked the streets of Bardon and Paddington which he enjoyed so much.

David and Veronica, Ian, and Jenny warmly invite family and friends to join them in a celebration of his life at the Royal Room, at the United Services Club Queensland, 183 Wickham Terrace, SpringHill from 12 till 3:00 pm on Tuesday 3 May, 2022.
