It is with immense sadness that we advise the passing of Dr Mervyn Patrick Naidoo on 18 August 2023. Beloved husband of Mona. Father of Mark, Owen, Taryn and Candace. Father-in-law of Jade and Brent. Grandfather of Evan and Grace. Very beloved Brother-in-law of Bobby and Yasmin.
Born in Pietermaritzburg, he thoroughly enjoyed his time spent practicing as a much-loved doctor in Newcastle, South Africa and Rothwell Medical Practice, Australia. He touched the lives of so many with his charismatic, humorous and generous nature. He was always a gentleman and inspired the younger generation to believe that the impossible just required a little more effort and imagination.
He will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Mary Queen of Peace, Catholic Church, Corner of King Street and Victoria Avenue, Woody Point on Thursday 31/08/2023, commencing at 10.30 am, followed by a burial at Albany Creek Memorial Park, 400 Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Downs.
