It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Pearl Eva Hofmeier (nee Ennis) Big Sistar, aged 80yrs & 8 Months on the 5/9/2024 at the Hopewell Hospice, Arundel QLD after a long battle with cancer.
Pearl, daughter of Gordon (deceased) & Daphne (deceased) & Sister to Janette, Colleen & Kym was born in Coffs Harbour NSW on 5th January 1944 & raised at Pola Creek, Kempsey NSW before moving to Southport in 1960.
Pearl married her husband, Robert in 1964 & had two children (Yvette 1967 & Shane 1968).
Pearl & her family moved to Sydney in 1970 & returned to the Gold Coast in 1983 where she lived for the remainder of her life.
Pearl was an Aunty / Great Aunty & Great Great Aunty to many.
Pearl was the beloved Wife of Robert (deceased), Mother of Yvette & Shane, Grandmother of Paul, Jessie, Matt, Kellie, Dave, Rick, Dean & Cooper & Great Grandmother of Kaiden.
Pearl's funeral service will be held at the Allambe Memorial Park in the Parkview Chapel, Nerang 4211 on 18/9/2024 at 12:30pm
