PRICE (nee Statham), Kathryn “Kate” Louise

Late of Woodward Street, Edge Hill. Beloved wife of Hugh. Dearly loved Mother of Jake, Sharday and Laylah. Beloved daughter of Geraldine Statham. Dearly loved sister of Jessica, Samuel, Haylie and Matt. Dearly loved Aunt and a good friend to many. Kate passed away on Monday 4 March in the Cairns Base Hospital.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Kate’s life will be held at Cairns Funeral Directors at 36 Pease Street, Manunda at 2:00pm on Thursday 14 March.

Family and friends of Kate are respectfully invited to attend the service to remember Kate and celebrate her life. Staff of Coles Cairns Central, Marano’s Fuel Portsmith, and former staff of Johnno’s Blues Bar from 1994-1995 are also respectfully invited to attend.

Kate’s family would like people who are intending to attend to consider wearing denim and black (a favourite outfit of Kate’s) to the service and to also consider making donations to the DANNI Foundation (for Type 1 Diabetes) in lieu of flowers. Kate will be cremated privately following the service.
