Late of Toowoomba. Entered into the presence of her Lord, 26th May, 2022, aged 95 years.

Betty was a devoted Wife to David James (Jim) Smallbone, until his passing in August 1993. Greatly loved Mother and Mother-in-law to David and Helen (USA); Ian and Glenys (Forest Lake); Brian and Lesleigh (Mt. Cotton); Catherine and Trevor Burstow (Toowoomba). Cherished Grandmother of 17 and Great-Grandmother of 43 (one due in June). Loved Daughter of Thomas and Isabel Beasley (both dec'd), Sister, Sister-in-law, and Aunt of Joan and Kevin Reed (both dec'd), Shirley Christensen (Horace dec'd), Valerie and Evan Davis (both dec'd), Linda and John Wright (both dec'd), Daphne and Allan French (both dec'd), Gillian and David Lowe; and Nancy Smallbone, Laurie and Doreen Smallbone, Sydney and Mary Simpson, Cliff and Jean Boynton (all dec'd), and their families.

Family and friends are warmly invited to a Committal Service at the Drayton and Toowoomba Lawn Cemetery, cnr. Anzac Avenue and South Street, at 10.00am, on Saturday, 4th June, 2022, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at the T.S. Burstow Chapel, 1020 Ruthven Street, South Toowoomba, at 12 noon.
