SPARKSMAN, Reverend Father Brian Joseph

Late of Toowoomba, passed away peacefully on 22 July 2023, aged 87 years.

Beloved Son of Dick & Ellie (both dec’d). Brother of Charles (dec’d).

The Most Reverend Ken Howell, Bishop of Toowoomba, invites the Priests and Communities of the Diocese of Toowoomba and the Archdiocese of Brisbane to attend The Vigil and the Funeral Liturgies of the Reverend Father Brian Sparksman.

The Vigil will be celebrated at the Chapel of St Vincent’s Care Services (Lourdes Home), 227 Spring Street, Middle Ridge, commencing at 7:00pm Sunday 6 August 2023.

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Cathedral, James Street, Toowoomba, service commencing at 10:00am Monday 7 August 2023, followed by The Rite of Committal at the Garden of Remembrance Cemetery, 1001 Ruthven Street (south).
