THOMAS, Merle Edna (formerly Jurd, nee Kowitz)

Late of Toowoomba and formerly of Oakey, passed away on 21st May 2024, aged 96 years and 8 months.

Beloved Wife of Jim Thomas and Charlie Jurd (both dec'd). Dearly loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Alan and Rhonda (dec'd); Beryl and Leo; Geoffrey and Maree; Margaret and Bevan. Loving Grandma to her 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Loving Sister to Connie (dec'd), Hazel, Edith and Harold.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Merle's funeral, to be held at the T.S. Burstow Chapel, 1020 Ruthven Street (south), Toowoomba, service commencing at 9:30am, Tuesday, 28th May 2024, followed by interment at the Drayton and Toowomba Cemetery.
