Beloved and devoted wife of Walter (dec). Loving mother of Walter Toppi, Paula Cunningham and Caterina Tarchi. Loved mother in law of Natalie. Proud and cherished Nonna. Devoted friend of Nadia Fernandez. Popular and much loved bon vivant hostess and culinary pioneer who wove magic and love into her cooking. Giovana was an iconic Sydney restaurateur whose warmth and charm enthralled all those she met. Our darling Mama Giovanna will be sadly missed by her many friends and family throughout the world. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for the repose of her soul on SATURDAY 13th November 2021 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (45a Victoria Street, Waverley) at 1.00pm. Giovanna will be interred privately at South Head Cemetery, Vaucluse. [ Those attending must show proof of full vaccination status. Current COVID regulations will apply Riposare in pace
