Born Macksville on 02 November 1922, passed away at Weeroona Village, Bass Hill on 07 February, 2020 aged 97 years.

Leila was the last surviving child of Robert John and Johanna Margaret Barnett, formerly of Lower South Arm Bellingen and Urunga. Sibling to Bill, Dorrie (Sheather), Connie (Moore), Butch, Toby, Ron, Jim, Pat, Joan (Cordell), Guy, and Kitty (Gooch).

Cherished wife of Julian (deceased), mother and mother-in-law of Robert, Janina, Lynette and their partners. Grandmother of Nicolette, Hannah, Sienna, Alexander and Tasmin and their partners. Great grandmother of Elliot and Eric.
