Dearly beloved husband of Esterina. Loved father and father-in-law of Francesca & John Papandrea, John & Ivana Vumbaca, Sandra & Peter Camilleri, Rita & Joseph Zofrea. Proud and loving grandfather of Benjamin, Christina, Alexander, Michael, Mathew, Gabriella, Thomas, Samantha, James, Laura, Antonio & Angelina. Loved son of Francesco & Francesca Vumbaca (dec), respected son-in-law to Ernesto & Tommasina Maruca (dec), loyal brother and brother-in-law to Frank & Coral Vumbaca (dec), Mary & Tony Dominello, Joan & Sam Marchi (dec), Giuseppe (dec) & Palma Maruca, Miranda & Tony Tesoriero (dec).
Joseph will be sadly missed by all his relatives and friends, both near and far.
The Holy Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1 Keenan Street, Mona Vale, on Thursday 20th February 2020 at 5.00pm.
A Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of the late Joseph will be celebrated in the same Church at Sacred Heart, 1 Keenan Street, Mona Vale, on Friday 21st February 2020 at 11.00am. Following Mass, the funeral cortege will proceed to Frenchs Forest Bushland Cemetery, 1 Hakea Avenue, Davidson. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Australia would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service.
We would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff of both Northern Beaches Hospital & Arcadia Pittwater for their wonderful care for Joseph.
