Passed away peacefully,
on 3rd February 2022,
surrounded by his loving family.
Aged 78 years.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Norma. Much-loved father and father-in-law of Gavin & Michelle, Trevor & Jodie and Monica and Dave. Devoted and loving grandad of Ella, Jackson, Joseph, Sofia, Isabel, Will, Issac, Avalyn and Emmeline. Beloved brother, brother-in-law of Barry and Gloria, Colin and June, Warren (d) and Yvonne and Uncle to their families.

Fondly remembered brother-in-law of Aileen (d), Arthur (d), Ron (d), Bev (d) Marie (d), Phil (d) Jim, Marie, June, Mervyn, David, Robyn, Ray, Ailsa and Uncle to their families. Treasured friend to many.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Funeral Mass and celebration of Bernie’s life in St Ignatius Church, 30 Kensington Terrace, Toowong, on Thursday, 24th February 2022, at 11.30am.

Sincere thanks to Dr Ian Irving, Dr Sarah Scott, the doctors and nurses at the Wesley Hospital for their care of Bernie.

In lieu of flowers a donation made to St Vincent de Paul on Bernie’s behalf will be warmly received.
