WENDT, Yolande Therese

Passed away peacefully on 29 January 2025.

She was 84 years old.

Yolande married twice, originally to Montague Juriansz and then to Maurice Wendt.

She migrated to Australia in 1974 with her family and is survived by her children Corrina, Mitchum, Mark and Sandrine, as well her sisters Nesta and Joyce, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the beloved 13th child of Venantius and Winifred Rosairo. Yolande was a courageous and curious soul who loved to sing and entertain a large diverse group of friends. She was an exceptional cook, catering for her family and community. A devoted mum that worked tirelessly to provide for her young family through a stoic and humorous demeanor.

A memorial service will be held at St Agnes' Parish, corner of Logan Rd and Tudor St, Mount Gravatt on the 12th of February at 11:30am.
