It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sigeru Yamashita, late of Thursday Island, on 29th of October, 2024. Aged 83.
Beloved Father of Phyllie, John and George. Cherished Grandfather of Emma and Maggie. Much loved Brother of Joe, the last remaining sibling among nine.
A viewing will be held at 9.30am, followed by the Funeral Service at 10 am on Tuesday 12th November,2024 at Cairns Funeral Directors Chapel.
Family and Friends are warmly invited to join us in honoring his memory.
Following the Service the Cortege will proceed to Martyn Street Cemetery.
