BISHOP, Colin Henry

Passed away peacefully at age 89—much loved husband of Mary; father to Mark (dec.), Lyn and Kirsten; father-in-law to Madeline; and cherished grandfather of Telaine, Reyne, Ainslie, Harrison, and India. Colin was the youngest child of Clara (nee Greenwood) and Thomas. He is predeceased by siblings Sarah (Harmer), Louisa (Watts), Myrtle (Hall), Emma (Day), Jack, Stella (Smith), Mavis (Harmer), Rose (Strong), Thomas, Viola (Ardrey), Kevin, and William.

Colin grew up in Beaudesert and was a life member of the Queensland Blind Cricket Club; emcee at Jimboomba social dances; and was an avid lawn bowler at Sunnybank Bowls Club.

A memorial function will be held upstairs at Beenleigh Bowls Club, Hanover Street, on Friday 12 January at 11.30 am. Please wear blue. In lieu of flowers, donations to Vision Australia would be appreciated.
