A memorial service is being held for family and friends at 3.00pm Friday February 7, 2025 at the
Corner Uniting Church, 93 Oaklands Road, Warradale, to farewell our dear Mum who passed away in Brisbane. Aged 98.
A unique and creative woman, graduating Sydney
Arts School before joining Qantas as a pioneering international air hostess. With much loved late husband Dr Richard (Dick) Burnett (1926 -2006) living in Brighton and Seacliff for more than 50 years. Val gave many years voluntary service to SA Art Gallery also a member of Grange and Kooyonga Golf Clubs and social Bridge clubs. Passion for cooking and legendary dinner parties are testament to her love of life and generosity of spirit. Forever in our hearts.
