Born 5 July 1947, eldest son of Peter and Lorna (both deceased), John passed away peacefully with Colleen by his side on 30 August 2023, at 76 years young. He is the beloved husband of Colleen. Adored and devoted Dad of Penny, Tim, Chris, Paul and Jonathan. Loving Grandad to Nathan, Riley, Josh, Sam, Alyssa, Keeley, Harry, Ethan and Taleyah. Cherished brother of Michael, Colleen, Julie-Ann, Paul, Jamie and David. Treasured Father-in-Law of Jac, Kym, Nat and Janine. A much loved uncle and cousin. And a loyal friend to many. This day will be forever marked in our hearts.
John grew up in Dalby, running the family farm for many years before relocating to the Gold Coast. Recently retiring to Toowoomba with Colleen, John was Managing Director of CB Constructions and a fierce advocate of the civil construction industry, with a passion for politics. He was a loyal family man, avid rugby league supporter and gardener, especially roses.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas More’s Church, 71A Ramsay Street, Toowoomba, on Wednesday 20 September at 10.30am. And Celebration of Life straight afterwards at St Thomas More’s Hall - please RSVP to the Celebration at https://www.eventcreate.com/e/john-clark-s-memorial
