DEACON, Hugh Charles

Hugh Charles Deacon died peacefully in Melbourne on January 5th 2022 aged 80.

Hugh was born in Sydney NSW on 3rd May 1941 and grew up in Bondi.

He is survived by his sister Eileen O’Shea, Nicholas Hugh and his partner Dianne Clara and her son and family.

Hugh was a much loved member of the local community where he inspired many. He participated in Zumba, Tai Chi, Ukulele, English Conversation, Laverton Community Choir, Yoga, Boxing, Pilates, and he swam in the bay in all seasons. There will be a Mass on Saturday 2nd July at 11.00am at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Altona Meadows.
