Amazing Leo Man, Amazing Life

Passed away at St Lukes Green, Woolloongabba with wife of 46 years Viv at his side. Son Ben and daughters Julie and Sally and grandson Rhys shared vigils during Mac’s last days.

Memorial to honour Mac will be held at

St Lukes Green Function Room,

Monday 7 August 2-4pm.

University of Queensland School of Medicine has accepted Mac’s body

which he wanted donated for research purposes.

Mac was a life-long Fitzroy AFL man and a very proud Life Member of the Brisbane Lions. On Sunday 6 August, when Mac would have turned 94, the team will honour him by wearing black armbands in the game against Fremantle. A gesture that will make his spirit roar.

Mac was a huge and continuing inspirational presence in many lives .

A proud Lion in every sense of the word. He will be sorely missed.
